Rohingya leader Mahibullah was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the camp

Mahibullah, a top Rohingya leader, was shot dead by armed terrorists inside the Kutupalong camp in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar. This information was confirmed by Superintendent of Police Naimul Haque, Commanding Officer of Armed Police Battalion 14 in charge of the camp. Citing Mahibullah’s wife, Mr. Haque said four or five people came to his house in Kutupalong camp around 8.30 pm on Wednesday. Mr. Mahibullah was shot four or five times, citing his wife. Naimul Haque informed.


He was invited to address the UN Human Rights Council in 2019. He was also invited to the White House to meet with former US President Donald Trump.
